A Very Stable Genius: Donald Trump’s Testing Of America, this book by Washington Post national investigative reporter Carol Leonnig and White House bureau chief, Philip Rucker, with Pulitzer Prize winners, provide the definitive insider narrative of Donald Trump’s unique presidency with shocking new reporting and insight into it’s implications.
“I Alone Can Fix It”
“I alone can fix it,”, so went Donald Trump’s march to the presidency on July 21,2016, when he accepted the Republican Presidential nomination in Cleveland, promising to restore what he described as a fallen nation. Yet over the subsequent years as he has under-taken the actual work of the commander and chief, it has been hard to see beyond the daily chaos of scandal, investigation, and constant bluster. It would be all to easy to mistake Trump’s first term as one of pure and uninhibited chaos, but there were patterns to his behavior and that of his associates. The universal value of The Trump Administration is loyalty-not to country, but to the president himself. And Trump’s North Star has been the perpetuation of his own power, even when it means imperiling our shakey and mistrustful democracy.
Leonnig And Rucker-Deep Sources
Leonnig and Rucker, with deep and unmatched sources throughout Washington, D. C tell of rages and frenzies but also moments of courage and perseverance. Relying on sources of exclusive new interviews with some most senior members of The Trump Administration and other first-hand witnesses, the authors reveal the forty-fifth president up close, taking readers inside Robert Mueller’s Russia investigation as well as the president’s own haphazard but ultimately successful legal defense. Here for the first time certain officials who have felt honor-bound, not to publicly criticize a sitting president or to divulge what they witnessed in a position of trust and to tell the truth for the benefit of history.
Revealing President Trump-Unvarnished
This peerless and gripping narrative reveals President Trump at his most unvarnished and exposed how decision-making in his administration has been driven by a reflexive logic of self-preservation and self-aggrandizement -but a logic nonetheless. This is the story of how an unparalleled president has scrambled to survive and tested the strength of American’s democracy and its common heart as a nation.
Trump Calls Himself: “A Very Stable Genius”
President Donald J Trump states: “I’m very smart, a very stable genius.”,
Donald Trump felt compelled to let the world know that he is playing with all his marbles and among the sharpest cookies around.
In a series of tweets, Trump defended his mental fitness and bragged about his brains, saying he is “like really smart” and a “very stable genius.”, A new book that portrays him as a leader who doesn’t understand the weight of his office and whose competence is questionable by aides. This is Donald’s reaction to those claims about his mental awareness to lead the country.
The President Against The Military
Donald Trump called top military brass “a bunch of dopes and babies” in 2017. This is a man who avoided going to war because he said he had (undocumented) bone spurs.
In this book Leonnig and Rucker say that President Trump lashed out at top military brass in a contentious Pentagon meeting in 2017, slamming them as “dopes and babies.”, The statement by the President occurred at a meeting in the so-called Tank, a prominent meeting room in The Pentagon, according to an excerpt from, “A Very Stable Genius:”, Trump’s testing of America is a brilliant book which tells it like it is in the brain of Donald J Trump, scary and allows lacks the ability to look at himself with anything negative, he is a self-loving, self-gaining, self-promoting (truths or not truths) pampas ass. If he benefits himself, he will bully, lie, cheat and throw people under the bus as it has been done before, ask the 6 associates, friends who are now serving prison sentences for dealings with our President. A self-loving putting self above country as a President is not a president for the people, it is a King.
Trump’s Tenure: Reads Like A Comic Horror Story
The New York Times Review of Rucker and Leonnig new book, A Very Stable Genius, suggests the title is “savvy marketing. It is possible to imagine both Donald J Trump’s detractors and admires eagerly grasping a copy.”,
The chapter titles of this book will most likely turn off the President’s admirers, Here is a list of some titles:
` Unhinged, Shocking The Conscience, Paranoia and Pandemonium, and a Scare-a-Thon. This verbiage in the titles makes the book sound like one more enraged polemic, it isn’t. They are meticulous journalists and this book is among the most closely observed accounts of Donald J Trump’s shambolic tenure in office to date.
Philip Rucker and Carol Leonnig.s book: A Very Stable Genius-Donald J Trump’s Testing Of America is a book from inside The White House, at the military table, press conferences, etc., the behind the scenes look into a very paranoid and pandemonium run White House, with the stable genius of course being Donald J Trump. Donald Trump consistently talks of himself as the supreme leader and he is the only one who knows what is going on in the world. He had stated that he knew the military and the actions that should be taken more than any General out there. He says that he has great foreign affair policies and he wants to get paid for helping other countries against there enemies. Trump’s biggest fear is that he will lose the election in 2020 and he will do anything to win, I mean anything.
The Republican versus Democratic push that Donald Trump has been pushing since his campaign for president in 2015, which is still going on today, is in my opinion tearing this country apart, it is like he wants a civil war here in the U.S. and he is the King (if of course the republicans win) of these United States of Trumps. That is just my opinion, but a scary thought altogether and it just feels like this is what our country is going through right now and I hope we get pass it, and become better people for going through these times.
