Melania And Me

The former director of special events at Vogue, and producer of nine legendary Met Galas, Stephanie Winston Wolkoff met Melania Knauss in 2003 and had a front row seat to the transformation of Donald Trump’s then girlfriend from a rough-cut gem to a precious diamond. As their friendship deepened over lunches at Manhattan hot spots, black-tie parties, and giggles sessions in the penthouse at Trump Tower. Wolkoff watched the newest Mrs. Trump raise her son, Baron, and manage her highly scrutinized marriage.

After The 2016 Election

After Trump won the 2016 election, Wolkoff was recruited to help produce the 58th Presidential Inauguration and to become the First Lady’s trusted adviser. Melania put Wolkoff in charge of hiring her staff, organizing her events, helping her write speeches, and creating her debut initiatives.

Then it all fell apart when she was made the scapegoat for inauguration finance irregularities. Melania could have defended her innocent friend and confident, but she stood by her man (Donald Trump), knowing full well who was really to blame. The betrayal nearly destroyed Wolkoff.

She lost not just her jobs at the White House, but she lost a friend, or frienemy as it goes today. She lost credibility on projects like The Met Gala, Vogue, and others because of the acquisitions that were and are being made about her today, from Melania and other Trump family members, as well as Fox News. Wolkoff says that it crushed her but she was not going to be any scapegoat and everything in the book she states “I can back it up with evidence and Donald Trump and Melania know that”.

What’s In The Book

In this candid and emotional memoir, Stephanie Winston Wolkoff takes you into Trump Tower and the White House to tell the funny, thrilling, and heartbreaking story of her intimate friendship with one of the most famous women in the world, a woman few people truly understand.

How did Melania react to the Access Hollywood tape and her husband’s affair with Stormy Daniels? Does she get along well with Ivanka? Why did she wear that jacket with “I really don’t care, do u?” printed on the back. Is Melania happy being First Lady? And what really happened with the inauguration’s funding of $107 million? Wolkoff has some ideas…

In Conclusion

This book, Melania And Me, is an inside view from Trump Tower, as well as the White House after the 2016 presidential election, that Donald Trump won into. But it does really tell the story of a friendship that went completely off the rails, and how Melania changed so much after becoming Donald Trump’s third wife, but at times she would come back to earth and be the Melania Knauss that Wolkoff knew for so many years.

My thoughts are what happened to the Inauguration money, $107 million dollars and we the people of the United States need to know who and what is going on in our White House. This is not Donald Trump’s White House, her is just living there until his term of being our president is up. And we the people need to be aware of what exactly is going on. It makes me worried about our tax dollars, if her can steal his own supporters donations, what else is her capable of.
